DaKing trailer hitch lock for kingpin-type hitches is comprised of two parts; the hitch collar and the lock.

Unlike other hitch locks of this type, DaKing's hitch collar fully encases the hitch. The hitch collar is made of cast aluminum and once attached to the kingpin hitch is not vulnerable to tampering. Most 5th wheel locks of this type only encase a small portion of the hitch. DaKing's locking mechanism covers 180 degrees of the kingpin on 1 side and 30 degrees of the opposite side, encasing a total of 210 degrees of the kingpin.
